The KIA Central Warehouse & Administration Office project, executed by DAC Group in partnership with AHEAD, represents a strategic logistics development for Aljabr KIA, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading automotive distributors. Situated in Dammam, near the King Abdulaziz Port, the facility was designed and built to serve as KIA’s primary spare parts distribution hub for the Eastern Region and beyond.

Spanning a built-up area of 22,500 square meters, the project was delivered under a Design & Build contract within a condensed timeframe of 12 months and a construction budget of 38 million SAR. The facility comprises a high-capacity automotive spare parts warehouse integrated with a fully equipped administration building, creating a centralized, efficient operational base for logistics, storage, and office functions.

The scope of work included comprehensive architectural design, civil and structural works, and complete electromechanical (MEP) systems – ensuring the facility meets international standards in terms of fire safety, temperature control, and operational durability. Special attention was paid to the procurement strategy, allowing seamless coordination of materials and equipment to meet the accelerated delivery schedule.

From the early planning stages to handover, the project emphasized high performance, low maintenance, and long-term sustainability. Its strategic location near Dammam Port further enhances KIA’s regional supply chain efficiency, reducing lead times and strengthening inventory management capabilities.
