Ceer Automotive
Project Overview
The Ceer Automotive EV Manufacturing Plant project, located in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), Jeddah, stands as a major milestone in Saudi Arabia’s push toward electric vehicle production. As part of this large-scale industrial development, DAC Group, in partnership with CBS Middle East, was entrusted with the design and execution of high-tolerance concrete flooring systems — a critical infrastructure element for precision manufacturing environments.
Spanning a total area of 450,000 square meters, the project was delivered over a fast-tracked period of 12 months. The scope focused on the design and build of high-performance slab-on-grade flooring, built to FM2 standards (Free Movement classification) — ensuring exceptional flatness and levelness crucial for automated material handling systems, robotic manufacturing, and heavy-duty vehicle operations.
CBS Middle East, a UK-based specialist contractor with a strong local presence in KSA, leveraged its technical expertise in industrial concrete flooring systems to deliver high-tolerance concrete slabs that meet stringent structural and surface quality requirements. The collaboration between CBS and DAC ensured seamless integration between structural works and specialized flooring systems, providing Ceer with a world-class manufacturing foundation.
This project plays a foundational role in establishing Saudi Arabia's first electric vehicle production facility under Ceer, the Kingdom’s first homegrown EV brand backed by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) in collaboration with Foxconn.
